Butterfly Bouquet Collection - Coming Soon
Stampin' Up! has pre-released a new collection that you are going to need to have. Butterfly Bouquet is the collection and contains Butterfly Brilliance stamp set, Butterfly Wings dies, and Butterfly Bijou designer series paper. They are available now to demonstrators and will be released to customers March 1, 2021. You won't believe the secrets in this collection.
Butterfly Brilliance stamp set is actually one large stamp with six different butterflies. There are matching dies, Butterfly Wings, which have 12 dies. It took me a while to figure it out, but there are six individual detailed butterfly dies that match the ones in the stamp set, and one large die that cuts out the six Butterfly Brilliance stamped butterflies at the same time. There are another five dies as well. You can simply stamp the six butterflies are a piece of cardstock and color them, or, like I did here, stamp the six butterflies using the one stamp and then run it through the large die to end up with six separate butterflies. I used three of the butterflies on this card and saved the other three for another project.
Here I stamped on a sheet of the Butterfly Bijou designer series paper. There is no coloring on those butterflies!
I layered the largest butterfly on the top, and two other butterflies on the bottom. Using dimensionals and glue dots, I was able to curve the butterfly wings to give extra added dimension.
I ran a sheet of Just Jade through the Painted Texture embossing folder. Finally, I placed a strip from the same DSP running down the left side, and added a strip of vanilla trim from the Forever Greenery trim pack.
I hope you like it! Please leave me a comment. Thanks for spending some time with me!
