Detailed Hearts Die and Oh So Ombre DSP

What an adorable card made so quickly with Detailed Hearts dies and Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper! Check out my video on how to make it.

The Detailed Hearts die cuts so beautifully! By placing it on Oh So Ombre paper, the hearts have a gradient from light to dark (top to bottom) and mimics the Oh So Ombre paper gradient.

The sentiment comes from Celebrate Sunflowers, and is cut out and layered with Tasteful Labels dies.

I added a bow made with the white polka dot tulle ribbon. The card was perfect as is, so I stopped there. Really, not very many steps to make this adorable card. The video is posted here.

Ingredients: Celebrate Sunflowers (or another set for the sentiment); Detailed Hearts, and Tasteful Labels die; rococo rose ink; thick basic white, basic white, and rococo rose cardstocks; Oh So Ombre designer series paper; white polka dot tulle ribbon; liquid glue, seal (optional), glue dots, and Stampin' dimensionals; stampin' sponge; trimmer; and Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine (Big Boss).

Recipe: Cut a piece of thick basic white in half horizontally, score in half again, and fold to create a regular card base measuring 5.5x4.25". Cut a piece of rococo rose Oh So Ombre dsp to 5.25x4". Adhere to the card base using liquid glue or seal. Cut a piece of basic white cardstock to 4.75x3.5". Adhere to the card base using liquid glue or seal.

Using the Big Boss, cut out the Detailed Heart die from a rococo rose piece of Oh So Ombre dsp. Remove all remaining little hearts and save for another project. Turn the die cut over and put on a silicone sheet. Make a little pool of liquid glue on the silicone sheet. Using a stampin' sponge, lightly dab liquid glue on the back of the die cut hearts. Carefully lift the die cut up and adhere to the cardstock.

Using rococo rose ink, stamp the sentiment on a piece of basic white. Using the Big Boss, cut out the sentiment with a Tasteful Labels die. Cut a larger Tasteful Labels die from rococo rose. Adhere them together with liquid glue, and adhere to the card base using Stampin' dimensionals.

Cut a piece of white polka dot ribbon and tie a bow. Using a glue dot, adhere it to the sentiment.

That's it! I hope you like it. Please leave a comment and if you make it please tag me. Thanks for spending some time with me!
