Dragonfly Garden - I Can't Get Enough of this Set! | Stampin' Up!

I guess I simply can't get enough of this new set from the January - June 2021 mini catalog. But can you blame me? It creates such gorgeous cards!

I made this card for a color challenge. The challenge was to use only petal pink, crumb cake, and early espresso to make a card). I love the way those soft colors look here.

Ingredients: Dragonfly Garden and Ornate Style stamp sets; Layering Circles dies; Tasteful Textile embossing folder; Dragonfly punch; thick basic white, basic white, and vellum cardstocks; crumb cake and tuxedo black inks; petal pink and early espresso Stampin' Blends; basic pearls; liquid glue and Stampin' Dimensionals; trimmer; Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine.

Recipe: Cut a piece of thick basic white in half horizontally, score in half, and fold to create a card base. Cut a piece of basic white cardstock to 5.25x4". Stamp the flowers from Ornate Style as shown along the right edge using crumb cake ink. Carefully color some of the flowers with petal pink Stampin' Blends, making sure not to get too close to the edges or to smear the crumb cake ink. Stamp the sentiment in the bottom left in tuxedo black. Run the piece through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine using the Tasteful Textiles embossing folder. Attach to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stamp the dragonfly in crumb cake on vellum and color with early espresso and petal pink Stampin' Blends on the back side of the dragonfly. Punch out with the punch. Place a basic pearl on its head.

Place a scalloped circle die on a piece of basic white cardstock, and place a non-scalloped circle die inside. Cut them at the same time. Attach to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Place the dragonfly on top of the circle with Stampin' Dimensionals.

That's it! Let me know what you think. If you try it please tag me so I can see. Thanks for spending some time with me!
