Jar of Flowers - 1 Card Three Ways - Make the Same Card Special, Sensational, and Spectacular

I love Jar of Flowers! This stamp set is so very versatile. I really enjoy coloring, and this set is great with Stampin' Bends. Check out my YouTube video showing how to create these here.

Ingredients: Jar of Flowers stamp set; Whisper White, Night of Navy, and So Saffron cardstocks; Tuxedo Black ink pad and Versamark; Stampin' Blends (I used light Pretty Peacock, light and dark Daffodil Delight, light and dark Rococo Rose, and light Mossy Meadow, but you can use any); trimmer; paper snips; linen thread; holiday rhinestones; liquid glue or Stampin' Seal; glue dots; and Stampin' Dimensionals.

Recipe:

(1) Special card: Using tuxedo black ink, stamp the flowers onto a piece of Whisper White 2.5x3.5". Using the Stampin' Blends, color in the flowers and leaves. Layer this piece on a piece of So Saffron cardstock that is 2.75x3.75 using liquid glue or Stampin' Seal. Layer on a piece of Night of Navy that is 5.25x4". Layer that on a sheet of Whisper White that has been cut vertically in half and folded horizontally in half to create a card that is 5.5x4.25" and is oriented horizontally. Stamp a sentiment on a scrap piece of Whisper White and cut out, punch out, or die cut out. Adhere to cardstock with liquid glue or Stampin' Seal.

(2) Sensational card: Using all the pieces above, make a few changes. Stamp the flowers all over the Night of Navy piece using Versamark. After adhering the stamped piece to the So Saffron, wrap linen thread around the So Saffron piece and tie a bow. Add the sentiment at an angle and use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere it on the end on the Night of Navy, and use a glue dot to adhere it under the linen thread.

(3) Spectacular card: Using the pieces and directions for the sensational card, make a few changes. Cut and color two bunches of flowers. Fussy cut out one bunch and set aside. Fussy cut the other bunch of flowers then cut around individual flowers and/or smaller groups of flowers. Adhere the one bunch of flowers to the cardstock, then arrange the individual and/or smaller groups of flowers around to create a much fuller bunch. (I swear that when I see the bunch on the sensational and special cards I think it's beautiful, but when I add flowers for the spectacular card I am always amazed but how gorgeous it is.) Thread the sentiment through the linen thread before tying it. Add rhinestones.

Note: Jar of Flowers does not contain any sentiments. Here I used I Miss You from an old Paper Pumpkin, but you can choose any sentiment you desire.

I hope you enjoy this post and the video, found here. If you do, please give me a thumbs up and leave a comment!
