Kylie's International Blog Highlights | Ornate Thanks

I am delighted to be participating in Kylie's International Blog Highlights this month with demonstrators from all over the world! The top ten winners will get to be part of an international blog hop so I would be thrilled if you take a moment and vote for my project by clicking on the button below. Once you are on Kylie’s site, scroll down and just click the heart in the corner of the picture of my card (I am #17) to vote. Voting opens January 4th and will only be open for one week so please consider voting right now.

Here is my card - my entry into the international blog highlights contest and hop. It uses Ornate Thanks photopolymer stamps and Ornate Borders dies.

The card also uses the tasteful textiles embossing folder (my favorite!).

I had a lot of fun making the card for my neighbor who took care of my dog so my husband and I could get away for two days (yay!).

It was not as hard to create as it looks. Stampin' Up! products make gorgeous cards easy.

Ingredients: Ornate Thanks stamps; Ornate Borders dies; Tasteful Textiles embossing folder; thick white, white, and pear pizzazz cardstocks; Artistry Blooms designer series paper; pear pizzazz ink; pearl basics; liquid glue or seal adhesive, stampin' dimensionals; Take Your Pick tool; trimmer; Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine.

Recipe: Cut a piece of thick white card stock in half horizontally, score in half horizontally again, and fold to create a 5.5x4.25" card base. Cut a piece of Artistry Blooms designer series paper to 5.25x4" and adhere to the card base using liquid glue or seal. Cut a piece of white to 5x3.75". Place the die shown above near a long edge and run through the Boss. Very carefully separate the die from the paper (it helps to use your Take Your Pick Tool in the ejection holes). Run the die-cut white piece through the Boss a second time using the Tasteful Textiles embossing folder. Attach carefully with the liquid glue to the card.

Place the two sentiments touching each other, one on top of the other, on grid paper and use a block to pick up both stamps at the same time.

Cut a piece of white to 1.5x4.75". Ink the stamps with pear pizzazz and stamp on the white at the same time.

Cut a piece of pear pizzazz to1.75x5. Adhere the sentiment to the pear pizzazz. Place that piece on the card with stampin' dimensionals.

Add three basic pearls to the sentiment piece.

I hope you try this! If you do please tag me so I can see it. Thanks for spending some time with me!
